The holiday cheer is in full swing thanks to the folks at the Salvation Army Lake Charles! According to Tina Nehls, the Salvation Army's case management specialist, "Socks are the number one requested item at our location. We served 21,432.00 meals last year and we helped 894 families through Social services. That is just a fraction of the number of people we help."
A yearly tradition for the Salvation Army is the Mr. Bingle Angel Tree Program. This awesome program allows people to pick out an angel off the tree and grant the Christmas wish of one of 1,000 children in need. Our baby socks will be included in this year's Angel Tree!
